Trekking in Nepal generally follow the trails used by the villagers in going from one village to another in course of their daily life. Some of the routes have been in use since centuries for communication and trade.
Trekking trip can be of any length from 2 or 3 days to a month. There are many popular short and long treks appealing to various interests while they offer the most spectacular and beautiful scenery in the world. Walking through the hill country villages and experiencing cultural riches, seasonal floral diversity, subtropical lowlands give way to meadows, forests, swift rivers and deep canyons leading to experience of a lifetime.
Trekking Season Spring and autumn are best seasons for trekking when sky opens. The season is favorable both in terms of moderate, rainless weather and clear view of the mountains. Spring starts with warm and dry days and fresh bloom of flora whereas the autumn is dry as well. The season also marks the harvest of crops followed by festivals and throughout the vegetation remain lush green and colorful.
